Diablos and Congos Festival

With the intention of preserving its culture and folkloric traditions, the people of Portobelo city celebrate each year two or three weeks after ash Wednesday the Diablos and Congos Festival, a celebration of Freedom and Rebellion.

This event is without a doubt a performance full of joy and color that gathers the best musicians, singers, actors and folkloric dancers from the province of Colón. They offer a show worth of enjoying and admiring.
